Last night while I was doing nightly paperwork and Eric was cleaning, Kenny came storming into the center. I should have locked the door but sometimes I don't in the hopes people will still show up to play at the arcade or air hockey. As it turns out, Angelica dropped him off because he was pulling on the steering wheel and being obnoxious because he was way beyond drunk. That really pissed me off. He barely made it into the office and fell into the filing cabinet. I immediately told him he had to leave and that he can't bring his beer into the center. He gave me a little trouble, complained, told me why he was there and that Angelica had left him and went home. Once I got him outside, I told him to sit on the curb or I wouldn't give him a ride home. I locked the door and headed back to the office only to have him pounding and yanking on the doors to get back in. He was scared that the police might drive by because he has a warrant out for his arrest right now. I ignored him and of course, he left to steal shopping carts from Aldi's. If you've never been to an Aldi's, then you don't know about the carts. They are all chained together, much like they are at an airport. Kenny managed to tear away four of them, bring them to Laser Quest, and run them into the front doors. Of course, this is probably the smartest thing he could have done -- having a warrant out on him. He left them there, in the bright parking lot lights, then continued to scream and pound on the doors that he was scared. I actually kind of hoped the cops would have driven by. He's my friend and all, but there's a time and a place to act like this and this was NOT it. So finally Eric and I are done closing. I set the alarm and we leave. I took the carts all the way back to Aldi's and get into my van with Kenny. He would not shut up. He was loud, obnoxious, and tried to get on top of my van a few times on the freeway on the way home. I was getting more and more pissed as this went on. He definitely is NOT a responsible drinker. So we get home and he tries to open his cars's driver's door and realizes that it's locked and the alarm is set. He screams out, "MOTHERFUCKER!" Remember, this is at 11:45pm and I have a bunch of older neighbors. I told him to knock it off and that I'd get the keys. Of course, the next thing he does is goes and opens the back hatch on his car because it never locks. The alarm goes off. I run into the house to get the keys and Angelica is calmly walking to get her purse, digs through it, then tries to stop the alarm from across and inside the house. She calmly walkes to the other side of the house and tries again. I wanted to rip them from her hands but Kenny runs in, grabs them, goes outside, and still can't fingure out how to turn it off. Somebody shoot me now. Please. He finally gets it to shut off, but then somehow turns it back on. After about a minute and a half, he manages to shut it off and keep it off. I saw one of the neighbors outside standing on his driveway glaring over at us. To make things worse, this particular neighbor is very close with Wendy's dad. Wonderful, this is JUST what I need. I told Kenny how pissed I was, what an asshole he was being, and walked into the house. He said he was sorry but I haven't talked to him since . I was seriously stressed.
